Katrina Hagood was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and currently resides in Akron, Ohio. With a deep love for dogs and a passion for helping families stay together, Katrina brings compassion, dedication, and a strong desire to make a positive impact through professional dog training. 

Katrina's journey with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team began through a personal recommendation. After seeing the results Lorenzo achieved with her best friend's dog, Titan, she was encouraged to explore the opportunity to become a trainer herself. What she discovered was a training philosophy rooted not only in results, but also in understanding the science behind canine behavior and learning. 

For Katrina, dog training is about much more than obedience. She is motivated by a desire to help dogs remain in loving homes and avoid the heartbreaking outcomes that can occur when behavioral issues go unresolved. Knowing that many dogs are surrendered or even euthanized due to behavior problems drives her commitment to helping owners better understand their dogs and create lasting, positive change. 

One aspect of Lorenzo's Dog Training Team that resonates strongly with Katrina is the emphasis on understanding why dogs behave the way they do. By learning the science behind canine behavior, she is able to approach training thoughtfully and humanely, helping both dogs and owners build trust, communication, and confidence. 

Katrina's goal is to build a rewarding career doing something she genuinely loves while making a meaningful difference in the lives of dogs and their families. Her passion for helping others, combined with her enthusiasm for continued learning, allows her to bring energy and dedication to every training experience. 

When she's not working with dogs, Katrina enjoys baking cookies, spending quality time with her son at the movies, and traveling to warm, sunny destinations whenever she has the opportunity. These moments with family and loved ones reflect the same values of connection and care that she brings to her work as a trainer. 

Through empathy, education, and a genuine love for dogs, Katrina is proud to be part of Lorenzo's Dog Training Team and looks forward to helping dogs and their owners achieve happier, more successful lives together.
