After being born in Cleveland, Ohio, Anthony Alexander moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he still resides. As a child, he recalls that his love for animals began with his grandmother. She taught him a lot about animals, starting with dogs.
In fact, he can’t remember a time there wasn’t a dog in his home.As he grew, Anthony ended up going to a vocational high school where he studied animal care. “I was provided the opportunity to work at The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo as a zookeeper intern for 3 years. I went to The Ohio State University and majored in pre-veterinary medicine. I decided that wasn’t for me and dog training became my career. It was the best decision I’ve ever made.”When asked why he wanted to train with Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team, he simply replied, “I want to help as many families and dogs as I can, and LDTT gives me that opportunity.”His goals in life are to be financially free, save thousands of dogs, provide for his family, and to buy his mom a home. In his spare time, Anthony loves to play basketball, make music and spend time with his daughter.
