Evaluate
We begin our training programs with a personal evaluation. At our facility, or preferably in your home, we perform a one on one evaluation of your pet's needs. We use the opportunity to hear your story and carefully observe your dog's behavior. It is particularly important for our trainer to observe your dog's interaction with you and other family members. A proper evaluation is a critical first step to achieving serious results.
Unlike pet store training, we do not offer group classes prior to our basic obedience courses. Our custom tailored coursework will address the issues identified during the personal evaluation. During the recommended training program sessions, you and your dog will learn new ways to interact with each other. The result is a mutually rewarding and effective relationship between owner and pet.
Educate

Dogs are not always fully responsible for their undesirable behavior. Often times owners unknowingly use improper techniques that ends up creating unnecessary stress. We educate dog owners during the training process so they can address their own behavior and modify their actions to correct the situation.
Communicate
Successful dog training programs require effective and consistent communication. Dog owners are taught to communicate to their dogs which behaviors are desirable and which ones are incorrect. Dogs are pack animals and are highly social, so they respond well to classic conditioning.
Desired behaviors are reinforced through positive influence and physical praise. Incorrect behaviors are not ignored, which teaches dogs to try other behaviors to elicit praise.

Patience is crucial for successful training. We teach owners the importance of communicating patiently with their dogs. We also teach owners how to understand and interpret their dog's communication.
Dogs that are stressed, overly excited, nervous, or fearful may not properly respond to training. If dog owners are unable to recognize these emotions in their dogs, they may become frustrated or impatient, which only complicates the training process.
We recommend beginning training with your puppy as soon as eight weeks of age. And we also offer training for any and all types of dogs, we can handle any special case or condition specific to your dog. There is always time for your dog to learn training principles as well as human social skills.
